These events bring groups of regional, national and international artists together to engage in creative activities and discourse over a day. The participatory model supports artists at any stage of their career who working in any medium/ in any location.
Micro Residency in Rogue Project Space
To & Fro is a collaborative project along with artists Rebecca Rogers and Matthew Bamber. It provided a space for creative activities to take place: a place to converse, experiment and create new working relationships. To & Fro ran in conjunction and in partnership with As We Are Away mini-festival.
A series of site responsive art projects
The Verb Projects are a series of site responsive art projects and curatorial investigations. They are facilitated in a range of urban sites and work with visual, performance and sound artists.
Project space and curatorial programme on the fifth floor of Federation House, Castlefield Gallery’s new art space.
Artists Antoine Barrot, Annamaria Kardos and Kathryn Miller used the space to examine ways we perceive, define and negotiate urban and institutional environments. Installation, sound, photography and performance were used to explore these themes. The dialogue continued through talks and a publication.

Working in collaboration with Castlefield Gallery and Eastside projects, a series of artists’ exchanges was coordinated between CG Associates and Extra Special People. These events offered members the chance to experiment, explore the kinds of dialogue which arise through creative activity and make new work and connections.
